What is the hand therapy market like here?

If you treat hands and upper extremities anywhere from Bourne to Provincetown, you already know the Cape is a small professional world. Everyone knows everyone, and a casual “are you happy where you are?” can travel fast. That is why we work confidentially.

Engaged Headhunters talks with certified hand therapists (CHTs), and with OTs and PTs building toward the CHT, across Barnstable County: Falmouth, Mashpee, Hyannis, Barnstable, Sandwich, Orleans, Chatham, and the Outer Cape. Some are actively looking. Most are not. They just want to know what is out there before the next season starts.

The national page is hand therapist jobs. A short guide to all four markets is Hand therapist jobs in 2026.

Who are Cape Cod hand therapist conversations for?

  • CHTs working in outpatient orthopedic, hand surgery, or rehab settings on the Cape
  • OTs and PTs logging hand therapy hours toward the HTCC exam
  • Clinicians thinking about moving to the Cape, or between the Cape and the South Shore or Boston area

What does a confidential career call cover?

The conversation is about the work you want next. It is not an application.

  • What you want next: caseload mix, surgical referral base, schedule, splinting and orthosis work, and mentorship

  • Your timing. A call does not commit you to anything, and we never share your name without your permission
